I want to cry

Ok so since Friday I have been so 🤧 ill. Started off with what I can only describe as the worst sore throat I have ever experienced in my life. That went on until Sunday started to die off and then came a massive sinus cold, to be honest I welcomed it just to get rid of my sore throat, I woke up at 3am and my sore throat is back! I honestly can't cope with feeling like this for any longer, it hurt soooo bad! I went to urgent care or Saturday and they said it was viral as I had no white spots on my throat, still no white spots. Want to cry constantly and just curl up in a ball and sleep until I'm better. I've never felt so ill! Anyone else had this virus?

Yep, same here. Caught it on Saturday after DH having it for over a week so I know it's viral too.
I'm 37 weeks and it's just horrendous, really feel for you. Mine developed into a chesty cough too which is very painful on ribs/bump.

I have it too. Had it for 1.5 weeks now. Doesnt look like it's easing up anytime soon. It seems to change everyday from sinus cold to sore throat. Im only 6.5 weeks so not taking any meds for it is killing me

I've got it too, it's really going around. Bad it since the day after boxing day and doesn't seem to be showing signs of letting up.

I've just been trying to stay hydrated and taking paracetamol when it's particularly bad as I'm cautious not to take too much

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. By the time I actually got out of bed I noticed one side of my face swollen so I have an emergency appointment at 3:30. Paracetamol just won't touch anything......

And then my partner complains he's ill...... he will be lucky to live if he Continues! I took medication for granted when I wasn't pregnant 😫😫😰

I had it about 6 weeks ago. Was absolutely awful. Thankfully I wasn't pregnant as I was necking codeine and throat sweets by the bucket load. I really feel for you, it lasted about 2 weeks!

It's bloody awful, I have a sinus infection now! This child is using my immune system! It better be on top of the world in my womb if I'm suffering like this! Lolxx

I feel asleep at my mum's on the settee for an hour and woke up wishing I hadn't I felt so much worser feel awful

Ouch, I really feel for you. I had a sinus infection at about 28 weeks. I've never felt so ill and told my DH I thought I was dying at one point. I got antibiotics from the GP for sinusitis.

I'm 17 weeks. New update, I was admitted to hosp last night as my gp has let everything Just fester which caused some kind of super virus. Yet to find out what it is! Had lots of antibiotics and pain relief and feeling finally I may be on the road to recovery xxxxx

Aww, poor you, OP, that's drastic. Hope those antibiotics kick in asap! Take care of yourself.
