This might sound stupid but sex is ok during pregnancy right?
I'm 11 weeks with my first. I don't have a midwife yet.
It's ok to have sex tho isn't it. Not like crazy rough sex or anything, just like normal?

Tmi
I had sex last night and about an hour later I sneezed and screamed as a sharp pain shot across my lower stomach.
Now 12 hrs later I noticed a very faint pink discharge.
So I'm freaking out that I have done something wrong and I have hurt the Baby!

Ok, in pregnancy all your bits are getting lots more blood pumped around them and any type of bumps nudges and even straining can cause a tiny bleed to happen.

Now sex in pregnancy is fine as long as your not going mad at it (wait til nearer your due date) and your not being really rough with toys etc.

Good thing is the discharge was pink not red, painwise could have just been due to the sneeze but if you are worried then call your EPU and they can do checks.

Sex is perfectly safe. All the midwives and books say so. Think they air on side of caution if you have low lying placenta which you wont find out until your later scan. My placenta is low lying and midwife said to me last week that although safe, sex has been known to causs friction on cervix and cause bleeding from placenta
So we've decided to just not have it. Much to my partner's joy! Haha 😂
You wouldn't have done any damage to the baby, they are very well protected

That really painful sneeze could be a UTI. Ask your GP if you can give them a sample for testing. Mine do this without the need for an appointment.
