Going numb every night

Hi everyone, I’m currently 19 weeks.
Every time I lie down my hips (whichever side I’m on) goes numb as does my arm (especially my left arm and left hip, but still as often on the other side just slightly less most of the time).
Every night I’m waking up constantly from my arm being totally dead and it takes a few minutes for me to be able to use it again as it must be getting next to no blood Confused . The hip numbness starts as soon as I lie down though - I don’t know how to sleep anymore at all and it’s really beginning to bother me! I’m propped up by so many cushions. My stomach now has its own cushion too which helps ever so slightly, or perhaps a coincidence... are there any tips? And is this normal?! I’ve not had this with either two of my previous pregnancies

Hey, I don’t know if it’s normal but my left arm goes dead when I’m asleep, currently 13+1. Maybe I just lay on mine funny? Sounds like baby is lying on a nerve or something? Would be worth mentioning it to your midwife though as it is abit unusual! Xx

I am 18 weeks and get this too! Have been getting it since about 10 weeks. I think it's to do with your uterus lying on a nerve, but I asked my midwife and she had no clue 🙄 It got better for a while but seems to be doing it again so I am definitely thinking of going to the GP if it gets any worse, just to check it's nothing to worry about
