currently 13 weeks with my first

iv had my booking in appointment with the midwife and have the date for my 16 week appointment as well.

im still waiting on my date for my first scan. i was told it would come in the post and be anywere between 11 and 14 weeks. i know it was probably taking longer to come through due to Christmas but i worried in case anything is wrong and i dont know (if that makes sense)

im planing on calling on Tuesday as i will be 14 weeks on the Saturday

its our first baby and there's a chance my other half wont be able to get the day of work if im only given a few days notice so starting to panic a bit

You definitely need to ring ASAP as I think they only do the 12 week scan up to 13+6. After that it's not as accurate.

I had to ring for mine as it never came through the post, got it in the post a few days after speaking to them.

You can try but they're prob not open.

Apparently they need to do measure the fluid at the back of baby's neck by 13+6, which will indicate any early signs of downs syndrome. I had to tell my midwife twice that I wanted to the screening so if you want it, worth calling to make sure they are aware.

Yeah i did think they wouldnt be there to day so will call before work tomorrow, the midwife was told i wanted the screening and its on my online notes but il double check tomoz

Thank you im just panicking a bit as not sure how it all works
