Results with bump - Results with Lucy

I've just signed up to Lucy's (from old TOWIE) online results program but there is one that is designed specifically for pre-natal exercise.

I've been an avid gym goer/exerciser for the past couple of years, even doing CrossFit (man was that hard) until I fell doing a box jump and completely knackered my ankle!

Anyway, I've been completely lazy in this first trimester apart from walking the dogs and need a kick up the bum and I'm hoping that having a 'program' to guide me will keep me on track.

Just posting this in case there's anyone else thinking of joining or who have already started and we can use this to motivate each other.

Can't start until the first week of the second trimester, which is a week on Monday for me but I'm going to use this week to reign in my eating (usual Christmas free for all) and up my walking.

Like I say, I'm a 'fit' person already (even though I'm a bit overweight!) so this isn't anything new to me and I'll be taking it very easy and the workouts are designed for exactly that.

Hi, I was thinking of signing up to it but am unsure of what it entails. Are the workouts good? DO they look like they will motivate you? I too have only been walking in the first trimester so want to do a bit more activity now the sickness has subsided. Thanks xx

I haven't started yet as you have to start on the first day of your second trimester - which will be Wednesday for me.

I've had a look at the videos though and they look motivating and management so I'm looking forward to it.

You get a 10 day free trial so you could sign up and then just cancel within the 10 days if it doesn't look right for you.

All I've been doing is walking and I was really active before pregnancy so need to get back into it but with someone who knows what a pregnant body should be doing.

X

I signed up and am going to start the first day today; however I am 15 weeks so starting it a bit later. Thanks for the information :) x

Yay. Let me know how you get on.

My DD got pushed back a couple of days at the 12 week scan so will start Thursday now.

Hey, how have you been getting on? Do you enjoy the workouts? xx
