Hi everyone, I recently found out I was pregnant with my seccond child. Over the past few days I noticed some pinky coloured discharge then yesterday I had some blood when I wiped. I called 111 and then told me to go to urgent care straight away. They did a few urine tests which came back positive and have referred me for a scan at the EPAC on Thursday. I’m so worried! And having to wait another 5 days for the scan is awful. Has anyone had a thing similar happen to them?

Yup I bleed loads weeks 9-12. Babies were fine and now 18+2 with two healthy little kickers.

Yes. The first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and it happened again at second pregnancy which resulted in my now toddler.

All the assessment centre can do assess what his going out on. They can’t do anything to prevent a miscarriage.

They will scan up to see if they can see a heart beat. If they can’t see clearly enough as everything is very small this stage then they will do a vaginal scan. If there is a heart beat then the risk of miscarriage is very very low but it is still a risk. If they can’t find a heart beat then they may do two blood test 48 hours apart to see if your HCG hormone is doubling. Doubling suggests a continuing pregnancy.

A small amount of bleed is common in pregnancy and if the bleeding/spotting is not continuing then that is a good thing.

Don't worry about a pic it won't tell us anything. I lost loads of blood and clots and it was still fine.
