Hello i am 11+4 and this morning woke up with a pain above my knee in my left leg. I got up and walked around and the pain eased. I sat down to have my cuppa and I began having some twinges in my very lower back.... now the pain is so bad I can barely move!! I’ve taken a codeine which were prescribed by my dr last week for an ear infection, but it hasn’t touched the pain. It’s ok if I sit still but if I walk, try to move it’s almost impossible!!!! Iv never experienced anything like this before and I’m only in my 20’s..... any ideas??

Give 111 a ring as I expect your midwives aren't working and your maternity unit won't speak to you this early.

Could be a urinary tract infection, regardless if the pain is that severe contact a midwife or 111 immediately so you can be seen and assessed. If it is a UTI they can escalate quickly during pregnancy. I hope you feel better soon xx
