I've been told by my MW that the advice is to avoid all nuts in pregnancy now.
When I had dd it was just peanuts.

Advice is - you may wish to avoid peanuts if you, the baby's father, brothers or sisters have certain allergic conditions such as hayfever, asthma and/or eczema.

Think it depends on whether you have a history of eczema / asthma etc in your family. All pregnant women should avoid peanuts but if you have no family history of eczema /asthma then you can eat other nuts.
That's what I was told - I have eczema and had asthma as a child so no nuts for me Although saying that I was told it was fine to eat nuts other than peanuts when I was pregnant with dd (2004-2005). But then she has eczema too...

My midwife has just advised me to eat a handful of almonds a day to boost protein levels so they're obviously OK according to her...
