Low and slow rising HCG Stories

Hi
I was just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation and could give their stories.
I found out I was pregnant 4 days before my due period. A day after I had (what I believed to be) an implantation bleed exactly 9 days after i ovulated. Had lots of very early pregnancy symptoms and got a faint positive. Next day I got an even darker positive.
Then I started getting pains. Found out I had a bladder infection and put the pains down to that. I went to the doctors and asked for a HCG test to confirm I was definitely pregnant.
He then rung me the next day to say he was worried as my HCG was low at 175. 4 weeks 2 days after my LMP.
He sent me up the hospital for tests and 30 hours later my HCG was 195. They said come back for scan in one week. I had another blood test 48 hours after the first and HCG was 209.
6 days later my HCG was 537
I went back for a scan a day later. They found what they thought was a 5 week gestational sac in my uterus (about 3 days less then I thought but my cycles are slightly longer) so almost ruled out ectopic but as there was no heartbeat they can’t say for sure that is the sac.
2 days later I have started bleeding. Only very litttle every now and again. It’s not a constant flow and it’s more brown in colour. A few cramps but nothing more then I’ve been having from the start. Boobs are hurting less and I’m worried my HCG is now dropping but I won’t know until we go back for another scan in 4 days.
Has anyone had slow rising HCG and had a positive or negative outcome. I’m also worried that if the pregnancy does continue, will the baby have development issues or a chromosome abnormality.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
