Hi ladies, currently 6 weeks and 2 days according to the date of my last period. I’ve had 2 previous miscarriages.

Got some bleeding today - really only a tiny bit but with 2 previous MCs I’m terrified.

Anyone else had this and gone on to a successful pregnancy?

I had a mc between DD1 and DD2 so totally sympathise with your anxiety. With DD2 I was at the EPU 3 times and spotted pretty regularly till 13 weeks. She now a boisterous 2yr old who won’t give me a moment piece.

I doubt it’ll help your stressing but wanted to share yay sometimes it turns out ok

I have. It's scary, but it doesn't automatically mean that you are having a mc.

After DC1 I had 2 miscarriages, both of which started with bleeding. I then became pregnant again, and despite bleeding on and off until 18 weeks, it was a successful pregnancy that went full term.

Sadly, pregnancy is never easy following miscarriage. You can't just relax. I think women who are pregnant after such losses are some of the bravest out there. And strongest.

I wish I had words that would take your worries away, but I know it isn't that easy. So what I will say is that there is every chance that all is well, that you should rest and try to relax as much as you can, and see if you can make an appointment at your nearest epu.

X

Hi, I'm also 6 weeks pregnant following a mmc in May. Bleeding is common and doesn't always mean the worst. There's a thread of us who are pregnant after miscarriage and helping each other stay positive, I'll find the link x

Thanks ladies, it’s just so hard to relax. Spoken to my GP who said I would at least have to wait it out until after the weekend and likely to phone them again on Tuesday to be referred to EPU. They are great at my local EPU but just horrible memories! xx
