7 weeks pregnant and breastfeeding my 7 month old. Is it safe to express?

Hi all,

I’m about 7 weeks pregnant, and breastfeeding my almost 7 month old. Can I still express, is it safe to? I have an electric and hand pump. I’m thinking I shouldn’t use the electric but hand pump would be ok?

It's fine to continue as you were doing. So if you expressed pre pregnancy then you can continue now. Just be aware that you may dry up, so ensure that 7 month old is gaining weight and has plenty of wet nappies.
