Anyone else reaching the second trimester and doesn't feel pregnant? Argh I'm so anxious. 12 week scan was great and couldn't believe a little person was there. Now only sore nipples at night, heartburn better, sickness better... No signs really... Hunger there... But I'm naturally hungry. 😛 how do you get through the next 6 weeks until the next scan? 😳

I was like this second time round but started feeling movement at about 16 weeks so was perfectly sure she was in there! Try to relax and enjoy feeling well. It's only a matter of time before they give you a reminder they're actually there!

Enjoy feeling good! I felt great in second trimester, then along came across sciatica and heartburn and not being able to get comfy.

Thank you, I'll try, I'm just so nervous if everything is OK. Had a mmc at 7 weeks last time and even though scan at 12+5 was all good, I just can't seem to shake off the anxiety 🙁 nausea and symptoms gave me a little reassurance.

Oh bless you that must be so difficult.
I didn't have that experience but did miss the sickness when it went for the same reason.
But stay healthy and stay positive, that's all you can do x

At 19 plus weeks I have no symptoms as well. Haven't had any at all. I don't feel pregnant and don't look pregnant - just fat!
No movements yet as placenta on the front. Also had a mc last year so utterly terrified. No idea what's going on there. I keep telling myself that my body carried and birthed a child before so I should trust it to do its job but after the mc I really don't know what to think. You ain't alone. It's shit.

pastabest · 29/12/2017 11:29

You may start feeling movement in the next few weeks and that helps.

You midwife might listen for a heartbeat at 16 weeks, but they don't do this routinely anymore.

I'm currently 15 weeks and can just feel everything starting to rise up out of my pelvis, which is earlier than last time.

Soon you will be cursing the fact that you can't feeling anything BUT them kicking you in the ribs at 3am in the morning Grin

Myolympicsisland · 29/12/2017 11:56

Omg am already in 2018! I had an mc earlier this year not last year!! Last year I had a baby ffs Blush
Saying that I had no sympthoms in my first pregnancy as well and it was all fine.

Do you think your anxiety is getting worse, or were you just hoping it would have lessened by now and it hasn't? I ask because I'm in a similar situation (I'm only 11 weeks, after three previous miscarriages, but I've had three good scans and am further than I've ever been so I thought I'd be relaxing into it a bit by now but I'm not). I think if it's just not subsiding as you thought you would then hang on in there - hopefully quite soon you'll feel movement, have a noticeable bump, etc and can begin to 'believe' in this pregnancy. If it's actively ramping up, though, then I think it would be worth talking to your GP or midwife about, as you might need some extra mental health support - I was talking to my midwife about this, and we agreed that I was ok for now, but that if it seemed to get more intense then that might be a sign I needed some help.

We got a private scan! Definitely helped and then babies started wriggling.

CremeDeSudo · 29/12/2017 14:06

Hi me too! 13wks tmw. I've been feeling better for 2 or 3 wks now and only symptom really is a bit of bloating. I've had 3x early scans and all was well, but the last was 1.5wks ago so getting anxious again. I also had an MMC at 7wks earlier this year so I know exactly where you're coming from. It's nerve wracking. Am trying to think of no news is good news!

Hulaballoo · 29/12/2017 23:34

Thank you for your support everyone, @LisaSimpsonsbff I'm not sure it's getting worse but definitely maintained. I had an early scan at 8 weeks and the comfort lasted about a week and then same again after the 12 week scan... Felt ok for about a week and now back to anxiety. It's a horrible feeling, I'll mention it at my mw appt in a few weeks. @Myolympicsisland I keep thinking that my body has done it before... Although the last time was 7 years ago so I'm feeling a little ancient and can't remember too much from last time... But definitely reassuring that I'm not the only one. I just keep hoping my bump will suddenly show and movement starts (tilted uterus so not sure I'll feel as much) asap... Anxious even telling anyone about it...😕
