I could cope with the 4.30 starts but this morning it was 3.30 and I was wide awake. I just lay there for an hour and a half (after the obigitory trip to the bathroom) trying to sleep but it was no good!

Does anyone else have this problem?

I had this during my last pregnancy. It's soooo miserable! Hope you have a better night tonight!

Yes i get a decent sleep til the first loo break and then i'm awake and just toss and turn.
How far along are you?
i'm only 24 weeks and i thought i still had a bit of time for the lack of sleep lol.
Not easy when i have 2 lo's to run around after during the day either.
Sorry whinge over

I'm 29 weeks now but it's been going on for a while. I'm getting to the point of prodding my dh just for something to do!

I used to love spring time but as soon as the first bird starts I swear, I start thinking over a gun club membership! I'm not my normal self!

If one more person tells me its 'nature's way of preparing me' I won't be responsible for my actions. Surely a better way to prepare me would be to give me 10 hours kip a night!

I've been waking at about 4am for a massive wee lately and have been tossing and turning most nights now...

When I had DD, it got so bad in the last few weeks that the GP prescribed me with a very small dose of sleeping tablets. Only thing was, I ended up wetting myself one night (I don't usually tell people that!) so I didn't take them again and I preferred to have the sleepless nights! We just can't win!!!

I used to read a lot in the night - my (now ex) dh was a milkman so I was alone all night .

This time, I have a bit of company because my now-DH is an insomniac!!
