19+0 weeks, lots of movement but still no "bump"

24 years old, first pregnancy. My cousin of the same age/size, who is only a month further along than me in her pregnancy (although this is her second) had a HUGE bump next to mine when we gathered as a family, yesterday. She was complaining of backache, and was rubbing her entire belly (not just the bottom, like I do), whilst I was receiving comments like "Oh, you're not very big." And "Oh, where's your bump?". Waiting for this "bump" is like waiting for paint to dry, and the more time that goes on without having "popped" the more anxious I become! Thing is, for the past week and a half I've been feeling a LOT of movement - so I know a baby IS in there!

Any thoughts??? I've made so many posts about this same issue over the past few weeks - I feel like I'm going insane!!!

I've only really got a proper bump in the last couple of weeks (25 weeks now). It really did just appear overnight. And a month is a long time in pregnancy so not surprised your cousin looks bigger. TBH I'm quite glad mine hasn't been big yet as I haven't been restricted from doing stuff as normal yet, have been carrying on exercising etc. You will be big by the end I'm sure!

Enjoy it OP!
I am having my third and had to wear maternity clothes from about 10 weeks. Very embarassing as people kept asking when the baby was due!

We are all very different. I'm on a facebook group with a bunch of women who are all due babies in the same month and you'd be amazed at the differing sizes of bumps even when we share due dates.

Don't worry. Is far more comfy not having a bump. I just looked a bit tubby til 34 weeks. Then within a month I was massive. Your time will come! Grin

Don't worry about comments at all if if they bug you, just think, smaller bump = less skin to shrink back afterwards Grin

As soon as you do get a bump I'm afraid it'll only get worse! I'm currently 39 weeks (due next Tuesday) and yet last week I had at least 2 different strangers tell me that was impossible as I only look "about 6 months" (I can barely walk wth PGP and have the hospital telling me baby is over the 95th percentile Hmm)

Bump appeared much faster for my second baby than my first. Don’t worry- you probably just have strong abs holding it all in!

It'll pop out soon don't worry. I felt the same, girl at work had massive bump at 13 weeks. Mine started to make an appearance at 20/21 now I'm 26 it's so big my boobs look tiny (my boobs are usually massive at 34E lol).
It'll happen. When it does it'll grow pretty quick too!
