Hi all :) I'm 22 and expecting baby no. 3 , my birthday is on New Year's Eve so I've decided to drag myself out to a friends small get together... but what can I wear? Hmm I've been searching maternity dresses/jumpsuits/outfits for a few weeks now and I can't seem to find anything that someone my age would wear Confused Its like all retailers expect pregnancy to add 10-20 years onto your style! Any website/shop reccomendations would be sooo appreciated!

I think ASOS do the best maternity party wear- and its not that unseasonably priced either.

I’ve got a wedding on Friday, I’ll be nearly 37 weeks so was dreading find something to wear that’s not frumpy - but ASOS have loads! I’ve got this one, it fits so well Grin

Have you had a look at boohoo?

mrssmith1415 · 27/12/2017 21:09

The only place I like for maternity wear at the moment is topshop! Not sure if they have much in the way of party wear though? Boohoo might have something?

I bought a dress off wantthattrend by Katie piper and have worn to every posh Christmas occasion! Planning on wearing it to a christening before baby is here too!

How many weeks are you? I got my party dress from Sainburys in a size bigger in a style that would allow bump nicely.

I got a really nice black dress from ASOS- which is so comfy (now on offer-typical)

I'm 32 and also find maternity clothes in the shops frumpy... Don't think it's an age thing!

It depends how many weeks you are OP, when I still could I was just wearing a lot of my normal bodycon dresses - but at about 30 weeks I realised I didn't want to stretch them too much at bought some size 14 ones in primark and they fit and look great with black tights and black ankle boots and a chunky cardi.

If had a night out to go to at the moment I'd look for a velvet bodycon dress, personally!

H&M have some nice party maternity stuff in the sale

purplesquares · 29/12/2017 08:52

I've got that dress too @pickle162 😂 Worn it to death over the party season - so comfy and flattering 👍🏼 Agree that ASOS has the best maternity dresses x

I have a jumpsuit similar to this from top shop, it’s lovely m.topshop.com/en/tsuk/product/maternity-slinky-wrap-jumpsuit-7249382

I wore this at Christmas. Cheap and looks nice on, washes well. Obviously I didn't really get the option of a strapless bra as per the picture! Grin
