Fell over

So this morning I slid down the stairs, luckily close to the bottom! I wacked the bottom of my back off about 3-4 steps. It hurt at the time and I had a moment on the floor where I wanted to use every swear word in my vocabulary. However I regained myself and then went it shopping.

I'm almost 16 weeks and also suffering with sciatica but my back is in bits... all along the bottom, and when I walk it's like, I really can't. I don't want to go to a&e because It's my back, but at the same time I'm in so much pain! Has anyone else done this? I have work tomorrow and the dread of having to even walk or sit on a chair is killing me lol

To be in that much pain several hours after you fell, means you really should seek medical advice OP.

Go to a and e or a walk in centre, why wouldn't you because of your back? They deal with every part of the body!

More so because I know it's going to be packed and I don't want to be sat on one of those chairs for hours

How are you today @juneisthemonth?

juneisthemonth · 27/12/2017 17:11

Went to the doctors and have a lovely bruised base of my spine :( have been signed off work. Luckily no cause for concern on the bump after they did a few checks. Thanks for the concern xxxx
