Taking Antibiotics whilst TTC

Is it safe to do so? Im on Augmentin 625mg tablets to clear up and prevent any further infection from the ERPC i had recently. Consultant told me that there is no medical reason why i should wait before ttc again (were going to start trying again in the next couple of weeks)but was just wondering if it would be safe to do so whilst on antibiotics. The leaflet in the box says:

BEFORE TAKING YOUR MEDICINE
-let your doc know if any of the following apply to you:

you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

Hello! If you've had medical advice that it is okay, then I think you should be covered. How long is the course of antibiotics? Will you miss your window if you do wait?

Hi mumpbump. I have no idea when my window is. My whole cycle is messed up at the moment. Im keeping checks on my CM but have no idea where im upto. How do i work it out?

I had my 1st ERPC on 13th April and then the 2nd on 20th April.The bleeding has mostly stopped now. Just have slight bits mixed in with my CM. I dont even know if my hormone levels have reached zero yet. Im just inpatient and want to get back to ttc again asap. Would it make more sense to use protection until AF arrives so that i know where i am with my cycle?

Forgot to say that ill be taking my last lot of antibiotics on friday.

Another question (sorry). Can i start taking the folic acid again now? I stopped about 2 weeks ago when i found out about the mmc.

I think that after a m/c, your cycle can be completely messed up, so you would have no idea when you ovulated other than signs, like cm as you say. I'd start taking folic acid again as soon as you want - don't see that taking it will do any harm. I'd just go for it, if I were you - all you can do is have sex frequently, I guess, and hope you get lucky! Once you have had a period, you can use an online ovulation calculator I should think, although it might take a little while for your body to get back to normal.
