Partner and I are trying to conceive. My periods are not regular since having a miscarriage in April. Tested today as boobs are really sore and I’m possibky a day late. Who knows as my periods are not regular. The line on my tesco pregnancy test is visible but not as Clear as the other blue line. Anybody else had this problem?!

If there’s a second line, even if it’s faint, it’s positive! I could barely see the line on my first positive test but it gets darker over the following couple of weeks.

If they still make tesco tests the same way they did a few years back, then they're really stingy with the chemical that reacts with the hcg. Their lines are very faint and tale ages to come up. My positive on a tesco was a proper squinter but I was very definitely pregnant (she's 3 now :) )

Pregnancy test second lines don’t need to be equal in colour to the control line (like with ovulation tests). If it is there, it’s positive! Congratulations!

Test again if possible with the first pee of the day, strongest concentration of hormones will be there.

Good luck and YAY
