Brown discharge?

Just been to the toilet and when I wiped I had brown discharge.

I've had cramps all day as well, very much like period pains.

6w + 1 today - I've had miscarriages before and this feels much the same.

Anyone had similar and a good outcome?

Easier said than done but try not to worry, not all bleeding in pregnancy is bad. I had this at 5w, was only when I wiped and lasted a couple of hours. The clinic where I had ivf said brown blood is nothing to worry about and probably just old blood that had leaked out from the neck of my cervix. I was also a bit crampy but it turned out that I had a uti. I'm 28w 4d now. I also had pink watery blood for a couple of hours at 8w 2d & the midwife said not to worry about it, only if it turned to red then it was cause for concern. I had it around 7 weeks then had an emergency scan but all was fine

I've had a lot of brown / pink discharge at around 6-7 weeks with both pregnancies. One was a miscarriage and one has been ok so far (37 weeks pregnant). You'll just have to wait and see I'm afraid! Good luck

That's the hardest thing, I think.

I had 3mcs and for 2 of them this was the first sign, but it turned into red blood fairly quickly (within hours). 3rd one was a mmc - was convinced it was going to be ok as hadn't bled ☹️

BUT then I had the brown discharge again in this pregnancy (my 4th). It lasted a couple of days and I also had strong cramps. It never turned red. I'm now 25 weeks and all is well. It's just a waiting game, but most likely everything is fine.

I had brown and red blood at various times in first trimester, but still going strong at 17+1.

It seems to have gone away for now but cramps are pretty bad. I'm cuddling a hot water bottle to try and ease them.

Previously bleeding has got heavier and redder pretty quickly, so I'm hoping it was just normal discharge. Gonna get an early night and see what happens.

Wish it wasn't happening over Christmas but it is what it is

It settled down but has started up again today.

Sometimes brown, sometimes pink. Really not sure what's going on but hoping it's okay as is no worse than it was.
