First response tests and results

Hi

So I did a first response test this afternoon and it was positive...... didn’t believe so did another test this evening and it’s negitive?!?

I’m not due until Monday so a few days early.......

Am I or not?! I will of course do more tests next week if I don’t get period.......

Any ideas ladies?!

It can take some time for hcg to build up. If you’ve been drinking fluids this can dilute it causing a negative result

Do you have a pic of your positive Op? It's unlikely to be a false negative!

I had a faintish positive this afternoon that changed to negative after 10-15 minutes. Is all so so confusing isn’t it?! Any ideas? Let me know how you get on Gemma! Fingers crossed for you x

Yeah was there for about 10 mins slightly stronger Than in that picture ... weird! Will have to test again in a couple of days I guess!

OP your urine is usually more dilute in the evening which could affect the test. Test again in the morning with first urine and chances are it will be positive!

This was my test at about 1530 today.....
Tested again at 1800 and no line!!

Don’t know and no more tests left!! Will buy tomorrow and test Sunday - just would be so amazing to tell man on Xmas morning the news!!!

False positives are very rare. If you get a positive you're almost certainly pregnant.

I would test again with ur first wee of the day that's when hormones are the highest in ur wee

That looks positive to me!

I would say that you're pregnant. As the day goes on your wee gets more watered down so the earlier in the day the better and preferably the first wee of the day will give you the most accurate results.

This was my first response 10 days after I got pregnant. Other tests showed negatives until day 14.

Defo positive. Congratulations OP. I'd ignore tests in evenings. Use first morning wee tomorrow instead. My very first 1st response test showed the faintest whisper of a shadow of a fart of a line....2 days later a second test was darker....now I'm 26 weeks x

Did a clear blue digital about 5 mins ago and..... that’s me caught!
Trying super hard to wait until Monday morning to tell other half as think it will make awesome Xmas present but I’m desperate to tell him!!

Let the fun begin eh!!! I’ve already got 2 and step daughter this is 2nd partner and I feel super old to be doing this again but also super happy..... very mixed feelings right now xx
