I'm 9wks and working myself up worrying if everything's OK.

Yesterday I had such bad morning sickness that I had to go home from work. I couldn't even keep water down and was eventually dry wretching. Had an early night but
I woke up this morning feeling totally fine. Not even nauseous and no bloating at all (could be due to not eating yesterday).

It's 3 weeks until my scan and feels like such a wait. I can't help worrying that the fact I'm feeling fine today after being so ill yesterday means that something has happened to the baby.

Can morning sickness go from so severe to disappearing over night?

I'm not sure if it comes and goes that quick as I had it for months. Could it be that you have eaten something or have you had previous morning sickness? Could you have a bug or virus?

The past 2 weeks I've been nauseous but not actually sick. It could be a bug I suppose. Just really unsettling not having the nausea today.

Normal for symptoms to calm down now as the placenta takes over.

I have just googled it and there are lots of questions about this and moray are saying yes it's normal and they also really worried about it too x

I called the midwife to see if I could get the scan pushed forward but she said my details from booking appointment are with the hospital now so it's just a case of waiting for them to get in touch about the scan appointment.

Google can throw up all kinds of advice so I've been trying not to.

My symptoms would come and go, I put a post on here about my symptoms disappearing over night a while back. I felt sick daily and was sick a few times, then one day it would be gone, maybe for two days, then come back with a vengeance! I'm now 27 weeks and have heartburn and back pain to deal with. My heartburn goes away some days but I just enjoy it now rather than worry about it.

My all day and night constant nausea cleared up at 9 weeks and didn't return (apart from an aversion to smells that stayed with me and tiredness that lasted until week 16). I freaked out at the time but everything was fine. I'm now 24 weeks. It's most likely everything is fine - symptoms fluctuate and will gradually begin improving from now. Best of luck x

I remember feeling 'unpregnant' at around 9 weeks, then I felt awful again shortly after, then slowly better from about 13 weeks.

Then throughout the later stages of pregnancy I'd get waves of nausea/exhaustion/bloating like I'd had in the first trimester.

I always put it down to hormone surges, some days my hormones were only slightly elevated, some days I'd get a wave of hormones and feel wretched.

Mine was bad nausea and disappeared pay much overnight at 10 weeks.... It's now back at 12+ weeks... Baby was fine at scan. I think nausea can come and go that quickly. My boobs also became less sore but my nipples were always sore... It's it all symptoms or just nausea?

My morning sickness was worse in week 10 and then just disappeared. Saw babies on Wednesday 16+5 and they're still fine xx
