Yet another nub theory post - sorry!

My SIL took one look at our scan photo and is claiming that, because of the nub theory, she knows what the sex of our baby is!! Was literally the first thing she said when she saw it, which we weren't exactly expecting...

I've read a bit about it but I can't make heads nor tails of it... And I'm also not entirely sure how much to believe it any case, but meh, might be fun to do a guessing game too if she thinks she already knows (or "knows"). Any ideas anyone? Thanks

Anyone? Sorry to ask but would love to hear some ideas, especially if SIL thinks she knows! :(

Ooooh that's interesting - thanks @Oysterbabe and @Darcychu. Everyone's been guessing boy to me because all I've been wanting to eat has been salt & vinegar crisps and green olives... although I'm not entirely sure how truthful that might be!

My husband would be absolutely thrilled, I think he secretly really wants a little girl.

No problem @Daisy91, congratulations to you too! I had my scan at the start of November. 20 week one soon! I wouldn't have a clue where to begin on nub theory but someone else may be able to help.

Aaaah that's good to know @chickennuggetsandicecream - I did suspect it was an old wives tale. My sister almost had me convinced though haha!

Definitely an old wives tale. I pretty much survived off Haribo with my son.

@Kittypillar when do you find out the sex ?

Nub and skull theory is all fun and games. Both said I was having a girl but low and behold he was a boy. Chinese gender theory has never been wrong for me though. But I have only had two kids so the odds are pretty good.

@chickennuggetsandicecream we recently had the 20 week scan - we didn't find out though! DH decided at the last minute that he wanted it to be a surprise. I love that idea too so I'm fine not knowing officially but aaaah I'm just so curious lol!!! And it's just fun to guess.

Chinese gender theory says boy! Seems very different to the guesses on the photos above so far...

@Kittypillar aww surprise !! I was too curious with mine so found out and it was a girl bit chineese theory and everything else said boy and I had a little girl !! Good luck with your pregnancy and please let me know what you have x
