Period type cramps

So on and off I have period type cramps. I have had then quite a bit today but not much yesterday. I also have a bot of discharge. I am 7 weeks tomoz. Is this normal? Thanks

Hi, I had similar cramps... felt like I was about to come on. I was told it’s totally normal in pregnancy, I’m now 12 weeks and still get the odd cramp.

A bit TMI but if your discharge has any blood in it or is a different colour best contact your GP just to let them know and make sure everything is as it should be

Its normal colour discharge. It is sometimes more crampy if my jeans are tight x

Sounds pretty similar to what I was having at that time - think once we know we are pregnant we focus on every feeling down there as we’re a bit more aware. If it gets severe or if it persists just give your GP or midwife a call to be safe 😊

I had mild cramps up until about 10 weeks I think. I was told that it should be not as strong or stronger as period cramps and not be accompanied by blood. I guess that is dependent on how strong your period pains are!

I had bad cramps like I was either going to come on or shit myself, started to get better then came back later on in pregnancy I rang the hospital as was worried she said don't worry will be ligaments stretching, I think at the early stages can also be implantation

Its just weird how some days it is stronger than others. Think thats what worries me.

I had period like cramping which turned to severe cramping all through first trimester, accompanied by lots of discharge that was the colour of traffic lights! All tests and scans completely normal. I'm now 27 weeks. I wouldn't worry.
