Anterior low placenta

When should I start feeling proper kicks?
I'm 19+6weeks, I've been feeling wriggling, etc. But no proper kicks yet, which made me worry until sonographer made me aware of the placenta placement.
(2nd baby - if it makes any difference)

22 weeks with an anterior placenta and I don't really feel proper kicks, just the odd twinge every now and then 🙁 It's annoying as I worry, but I'm not surprised I have an awkward baby lol!

I didn't really feel kicks til nearer the end and had the same thing OP. I felt it more when I was in the bath and on my left side in bed but it was more wriggling then kicking xx

Mine is high anterior placenta

I'm just such a worried! With DS I had a posterior placenta so felt him from 16 weeks. Been panicking the last few days so it's good to know it's normal not to feel proper kicks at this stage

Low anterior placenta. Now 23+1 I get pops either round my belly buttom, and some low to the right but thats it.

I was the same, midwife told me it was normal to worry with that but if I ever felt like I needed to be seen then don't hesitate to contact them. Baby will be here before you know it, congratulations OP x

I have a low anterior and I hardly feel my baby move (30 weeks nearly now).

starting to get a bit worried but the midwife said its normal and the hearbeat is strong ect, just really cushioned and facing away from my belly basically. Do get a few squirms and wriggles/turns at bedtime which reassures me each day but it still is odd. Especially after seeing a friends stomach actually visually move in front of my eyes from the impact of her babies kicks at this stage in her pregnancy Shock

I had a low anterior placenta and didn’t feel anything at all until 22w +
