Argh my DDs school has had a few cases of hand foot and mouth... I'm a bit worried. Is there any way to prevent them catching it... Can I do anything? Is it one of the viruses that would be bad for baby? 😳

My eldest had this when I was pregnant with my youngest (obviously the time he contracted EVERYTHING! Lol) and nor my doctor or midwife were concerned at all

I am 29 weeks and though my toddler didn't catch it I've just gotten over it. According to the nhs there's no issues unless under 12 weeks or due to give birth in the next 12 days.

I'm a teacher and one of the other children has just had it.. quick search on NHS told me it's not harmful to pregnant people.

Phew! That's a relief thank you! 🙂
