Bloody hell! The last hour I've felt I've been stabbed down there! It's like sharp shooting pains worse when I'm walking around. 39 weeks 4 days. Anyone else have this?

I did with my first, felt like sharp hot pokers lol

I was told it was just the last of the small ligaments loosing up for delivery but since i was induced i never went further than that.
Good luck - a warm towel or hot water bottle will help!

Lol yes that's what it feels like. I was induced with my first so ive not went into labour naturally. I need this baby out of me 😂

Ohhh I remember this with my youngest. Felt like I was being stabbed in the hoohah from the inside, and because of where it is it shocks you massively! Happened for quite awhile and I still ended up being induced!!

@bigbaboonbum oh I've had this all day! Feels fine when I'm sitting still but as soon as I stand up and walk that's it's, the daggers are back!! My inner thighs hurt too!

Right there with you. It's called "fanny daggers". Do a search on mumsnet, you're not alone!

Toasttea · 21/12/2017 13:48

@msp0b oh I've read up on them alright lol had to call up triage about something thjs morning, asked about the daggers, she said it's probably baby pushing down.

Friends are also telling me it's because of the hormone "relaxin" that causes all the ligaments etc to loosen up. It's everything stretching. Mine's happening if I try to walk anywhere at a normal speed but okish if I do a slow preggo waddle.

Dog v disappointed by short, slow walks this week.

Mine is sore the minute I stand up and walk. I'm with you on the pregnant waddle lol! @msp0b
