I would like to take my mum and Grinself gift go with her to a spa. Living near Guildford she would probably prefer someone local ish.

Does anyone have suggestions? I will be 31weeks to 35 weeks in jan / early
Feb so ideally need somewhere than can cater for me.

Also- what treatments would be good for

My wonderful friends bought me a voucher for Brooklands Hotel & Spa in Weybridge for my birthday and it was a really lovely day. The Mum To Be package included a 25 min massage, lunch, 60 min facial and a manicure. The treatments were excellent.

The only thing that was a bit of a let down is that they don't have a pool and as pregnant ladies aren't allowed to use the sauna, steam room or hot tub, there is not much to do between treatments.

They do have a meditation room with squishy water beds which are heated, but you have to book a slot to use those. They are amazing though.

You also might want to consider taking your own robe... the one they gave me only just made it around my bump (I was 35 weeks at the time)

I'm sure you could buy yourself the Mum to be package and then buy a similar one for your Mum. It'll be a real treat for the two of you... and let's face it, once baby arrives, you probably won't be able to take a spa day for a while.
