Hi this is my first post so I hope I'm doing this right haha. Basically I'm having a c-section again towards the end of April 2018, but I've not long had a c-section which was 31st of may 2017 so only a few months ago with my first son, so it'll be 11 months apart. Has anyone had a section this close before and what were your experiences?? I've currently got a painful hip on my right side and the c section scar is hurting as I'm slowly getting bigger which worries me, I have put weight on but is it normal for the scar to hurt when you touch it / lean on it? Just need some reassurance that it'll be fine as my MW said it's a possibility of risk of low lying placenta and placental abruption etc, sorry for the long S.A TIA 🙂Grin

In 2 weeks time, I'll be having my second c section within 12 months. Can't offer much advice/help right now, but will bookmark this and come back and post after the bub arrives!

I had 4 years btwn mine, but the scar was sensitive to touch while I was expanding with DC2. I had a wound breakdown with my first CS and had a 7cm chunk of scar tissue on either side of the line - less stretchy than regular skin, so it was expected.

Are you due for a scan soon? They were able to see my scar on that and it was reassuring to get updates on it.

Good luck!
