Baby in Breech Position

Hi ladies,

I am writing this on behalf of one of my friends. My friend is 26 weeks pregnant and she did a scan couple of days ago. It seems that the baby is in breech position - meaning in sitting position. I would like to know what would be the problem (if any) associated with it. What could be the possible remedies? The baby for my friend is due next Apr 2018.

Your friends Baby still has a a lot of time to turn around. My baby was breech at week 37 then by week 38 he had turned around on his own.

Honestly wouldn’t worry at 26 weeks, not at all. both of mine were and then went into a transverse lie (sideways) and then into proper position in late 30 weeks

I was breach until 30 ish weeks. It's nothing to worry about at all.

Nothing to worry about. They turn and wriggle around so much in these earlier months. All that means is at that particular moment the baby was “breach”, I’m sure if they looked 10 minutes later it wouldn’t be. They tend to naturally get into position as the weeks go by. Don’t worry x

My breech baby turned at 38 weeks. It's nothing to worry about.
