C-Section Date

Hi,

I’m opting for an elective c-section. We are meeting with the consultant on the 28th at our 34 week scan. I’m wondering when we will discuss dates for the section & if it’ll be before my actual due date? If anyone can point me in the right direction.

Our date was booked in for 38+6 when we saw the consultant at around 35 weeks.

We had our final Consultant appointment to arrange a c section date when I'd just turned 36 weeks. They've booked us in for 39+4 as my hospital will not perform c sections before 39 weeks.

39 weeks

Usually they do them about 39 weeks ish. An think they may book you in at this appointment if it’s set your having a c section.
