After thinking my waters had gone on Friday morning and losing part of the mucus plug, nothing is happening. Had midwife this afternoon, baby isn't fully engaged. Booked in for next week for a sweep if I want one. I may also need to be induced which I had which I had with my first!

Have your waters actually broke? Or its frustrating the waiting isn't it! Hope something happens soon. X

@tiredmum100 I thought it was my waters, deffo lost some of my mucus plug. My midwife told me it can come away gradually so it's basically a waiting game now. Thank you me too x

Oh, I was just wondering as my waters broke at 34 weeks and it was another 2 weeks before I went into labour. To be honest I don't think I should have gone that long with broken waters but it was actually this exact time of year and things didn't seem to be happening as quick if it wasn't Christmas. My ds was born 28 th Dec in the end. I just feel your pain of the waiting game!

At 38 weeks my second baby was 3/5 engaged. At 40 weeks she was 1/5 engaged. She was born 3 days later. Makes no difference - they can engage right at the very end.

With both pregnancies I found going for a long walk to be the best way to kick-start labour. Good luck!

Babies will come when they are ready, I'm just too impatient. Baby is clearly very happy in there. Will go a long walk this week at some point x
