Hello lovely ladies.
I'm new to this so please bare with me, I am around 9 weeks pregnant and have first midwife appointment tomorrow! What should I expect? Also is it normal to be 9 weeks and have no symptoms other than really hungry all the time, feeling really tired and low moods other than that I've not really had many symptoms like sore boobs etc am I just lucky ? It's driving me insane! Just wanna to see baba and make sure he or she is doing okay! Xxx

Didn't want to run and leave. No idea if normal but congratulations!

Sounds like you're 1 of the lucky 1s

Totally normal not to have any symptoms. I've never had any in any pregnancy. Its just luck of the draw.

First midwife appointments are usually just filling in lots of forms and taking medical history. They'll also take blood to check for infections and iron levels and also take a urine sample.

I was like this first pregnancy and had zero sickness or any other symptoms - all was fine though and got called a lucky b#$%^& a few times from members of the uncle huey sickness club lol

Enjoy it and relax

I had honestly zero symptoms other than feeling the baby move when he got big enough.

6 weeks with DC2 and not a whisper of a symptom other than a lackage of AF and a BFP this morning. By this stage with DS I was vomiting up everything including water and had been for a few weeks. Pregnancies are wildly different. I'm cautiously optimistic that this one will be less sicky than the last. Can't remember if my 1st appointment was the big booking one where they gave me half a forest of leaflets, or if that's a later one.

If it is your booking one, take somebody with you. I didn't, but wish I had. I got bombarded with so much information I didn't remember tha half of it.A second pair of ears would have been good.
