Hello everyone,

I'm based in central East London and am intrigued by hypnobirthing...has anyone got any recommendations?

I would do natal hypnotherapy. You don't need to take a class though. Just buy the book and the tracks and practice at home. The class basically just tells you what's in the book and tells you to practice on your own (and there are a few sample self-hypnosis sessions during the class itself, which are just for you to get the idea of how it works, you don't need these though, you can just listen to the tracks yourself at home). It's wonderful. I used it with my first and had a lovely relaxed home birth with no pain relief other than a TENS and was really comfortable. I'm using it again with this baby.

Lovely, thank you! I'll order a book! Any one in particular you recommend?
