I'm 22 weeks and my baby seems to be really strong and active all of a sudden after me doubting feeling anything before. I can even see and feel movements in the outside after literally nothing just a couple of weeks back. What are other people's like at this point? I know there's no normal but I'm just curious!

Am 20 weeks tmw and have been feeling some fluttery sensations last week or so, no definite baby moving stuff yet.

RedBlackberries · 17/12/2017 23:19

Is it your first? With my first they weren't this strong because I thing my stomach muscles were still a reality Grin. I was really expecting to feel movements from about 16 weeks second time round but it was about 20 weeks till I was sure. Now it's mad how I can see him wriggling about in the evening!

With my first I was about 25 weeks before I was sure I felt movements but each time it got sooner. With my third I was about 19weeks, I was sure to the point at my 20week scan I felt him roll over and said to woman he's just moved hasn't he. I felt the flutters by about 16 weeks with him

I'm 20 + 6 and have been feeling movement for a few weeks. She freaked me out at 19wks as felt hardly any movement for a couple of days but has been kicking and rolling loads in the last week. Seems to be getting stronger and more frequent.

RosaBaby2 · 18/12/2017 08:56

I'm 20+2 and have felt movement for about 3 weeks, just flutters mainly but in the last week I've felt proper kicks and saw my belly move on the outside on Saturday at 20weeks exactly, I was surprised as I'm overweight I thought I would be waiting a while for that.
This is my second baby with a 10 year gap if that makes a difference 😂

I’m 20+1 today and the same as a couple of others have said, just little fluttery movements, which I’m still not 100% convinced aren’t just gas lol

This is my 1st and I am now 22w 4 days. I have been feeling really really strong kicks for about 3 weeks now.
The kicks actually make me jump quite often!!

My DP can feel him kicking as well, which is a lovely experience for him too.

I have a close friend who is also having her 1st though, and is 2 days behind me and so far she hasn't felt anything yet.

Crazy how different every pregnancy is!!

WhyTheHeckMe · 18/12/2017 12:42

I'm 22+1 with my second. With ds1 I didn't feel even a flutter till 24 weeks (placenta at the front).

This time I'm feeling very strong kicks and at night it's so bad you can actually see it. This has been going on for 3 or 4 weeks now and when I had my 20 week scan I mentioned it, the sonographer said this time my placenta is totally at the back and my baby didnt stop moving the whole scan either. Feels very different!

Hairgician · 18/12/2017 17:26

This is my second. Just little glittery sensations but sometimes I get a weird feeling like he/she has rolled. Anomaly scan on Thurs! Can't wait!

RedBlackberries · 18/12/2017 17:49

Amazing how much it varies! I think he even had hiccups this afternoon Grin

23 weeks with anterior placenta. Get pop pop pop pop type feelings. Then last night a few thumps.

Loosemoose28 · 18/12/2017 18:22

Only really feeling them now. Between 20-22 it was is this baby or wind Wink

RedBlackberries · 18/12/2017 18:24

Exactly, it's gone from 'hmm I think baby' to seeing him kicking away and seeing my stomach move about!
