Hi all, I am 25+4 today and for the past couple of days have had a dull ache in my lower abdomen. It's where I would feel period pain although not as severe as that. Had anyone else experienced this? I don't have any symptoms of UTI and baby is still moving about.

Oh Christ yes. I'm 25w tomorrow, and like you have an aching bump. I figure it's just the muscles trying to hold an unfamiliar weight plus ligaments stretching. I've started walking around at home with my hands supporting under the bump to give the muscles a break - seems to help!

I'm 19 and just had to sit down due to low pains after standing awkwardly for some time. Not sure if it's the same or not but it was quite painful.

No harm getting checked out though.

I've been looking at belly binding or a support belt of some sort as o think I'm going to suffer this time.

I'm 25weeks and have just had a week of horrible pain. Firstly a kind of permanent stitch in my left side and also regular painful cramps.
I think it was all ligament stretching as my bump is visibly bigger than a week ago!

I've just hit 29 weeks and this is how I feel. I don't remember it with my first!!

I’m 20 weeks and I’ve had these pains all the way through, like a period pain but they only tend to last a few minutes. I think like others have said it’s all the stretching going on, I’ve always had a tiny belly and pretty tight stomach muscles so I don’t know if that makes it worse!

I do remember getting that feeling before. If it persists or the pain comes too painful to bear have it checked to be safe.
