15 weeks and I don't feel pregnant anymore

15 weeks, boobs aren't really sore anymore, no longer shattered (managed a good squash game last night with dp, strictly non contact he's well trained), and I keep eyeing up a spare pregnancy test......would I have anything to lose by taking it? I know after a certain date they stop working as well but I wasn't sure when that was

I think this is normal, enjoy your 2nd trimester you will feel little kicks soon enough 😀

Northernbeachbum · 16/12/2017 13:12

I've stupidly read too much about missed miscarriages and I'm having a minor panic I think Xmas Blush

Can you feel the bump ? I could at 15w also you could get a scan of you wanted to be sure.

WowserBowser · 16/12/2017 13:16

Did you have your 12 week scan?
You're out of the first trimester now so completely normal for it all to settle down. Won't be longer until the baby is moving and that is always reassuring.

Your HCG levels are probably not high anymore - if you are worried you should go to your Early Pregnancy Unit

Sassy306 · 16/12/2017 13:20

I didn't feel pregnant between 14 and 18 weeks when I started to feel movement. I worried myself sick before my 16 week check up and only relaxed when i heard the heartbeat on the Doppler. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about as long as you feel well in general :)

Rebekah120517 · 16/12/2017 13:22

I loved second trimester getting all the energy back and feeling good! Enjoy it while it lasts. 😁

QueenAravisOfArchenland · 16/12/2017 13:49

Well yeah, that's what happens in the second trimester!

You're probably not that far off feeling movement and the chances of anything having gone wrong are extremely low. I'd just enjoy it while you can.

Northernbeachbum · 16/12/2017 13:50

Bump is still there definitely
12 week scan was completely normal

I'll try to stop worrying

I felt like this op and I know they are very controversial but I bought a heart monitor and heard the baby’s heartbeat at 16 weeks a couple of days ago and I feel so much better.

I dont have much of a bump or anything so I didn’t feel pregnant and didn’t have any symptoms so was so relieved to hear my baby is still in there - I was petrified of a missed miscarriage.

I won’t use my doppler for reassurance later and I know all the risks but right now at this early stage I felt enormously relieved by it.

NoParticularPattern · 16/12/2017 16:22

I didn’t feel pregnant until I reliably started to feel movements. Even after scans telling me everything was fine at 12 and 20 weeks I still didn’t really feel pregnant, just fat (fatter than usual anyway!). I still have to remind myself now and I’m 33 weeks- it’s only when I go to bend over or squeeze through a small gap that I really remember, and when I’m knackered by the end of the day. It’s definitely normal for you to have fewer symptoms in the second trimester and I definitely had loads more energy too so also not unusual!

Northernbeachbum · 16/12/2017 16:47

It just seems so long to go between scans and you just don't know. I've also not gained any weight in the last 2 weeks, although I am back up to normal exercise levels and eating normally again so maybe that's it (I was eating loads to start off to not get morning sickness)

Glad I'm not the only one though

Still keep considering doing that pregnancy test

This sounds normal to me OP. Try not to worry.

Northernbeachbum · 16/12/2017 17:16

Ok thanks all, will try to not think about it too much Smile

I mean, you can do the pregnancy test if you want, but it won't tell you anything useful. Pregnancy tests are meant for use in the first four weeks, tops, and past 5 weeks pregnant they aren't capable of telling you anything about how the pregnancy is progressing.
