I have been diagnosed with vasa previa - is there anyone else in a similar position? If so it would be very good to be able to support each other. I have a two lobed placenta, one part of the placenta is posterior and the other is anterior. Both lobes of the placenta are low lying and connected by blood vessels running 2cm from the cervix. I am 25 weeks now and waiting for the next scan at 28 weeks and from there more information from the consultant on what they will do to manage the process. Hoping there is someone else ready to share their experiences too. Thank you Livvie

Hi, I have been diagnosed with Vasa Previa, it was found quite late at 29 weeks. I also have the posterior and anterior placentas with the vessels connecting them over my cervix. I just wondered what plan of care you were given and how you got on with everything?
