Sorry for the title Xmas Grin

I have been getting a bruised like pain either side of my vulva, at the front where pubic hair is. It was on one side; now both. Is it anything like a vein bulging? And any advice?

Varicose veins in your vulva op. . Oh the joys of pregnancy!!

Thought so, great! I'm wearing support socks but I can't wear fanjo supports. Any advice? Is this part of putting feet up?!

I've got the same thing I've got physio Monday I can't walk with mine tho and struggle to put my feet up

Relaxing2 · 15/12/2017 16:21

How many weeks are you

Spam88 · 15/12/2017 17:05

Could also potentially be start of SPD.

AnonEvent · 15/12/2017 17:07

I'm trying to remember which of my friends had vulva-varicose-veins... if I remember, I'll ask her what she did.

BrokenBattleDroid · 15/12/2017 17:08

Is it your pubic bone? Mine felt bruisy. Support belt from physio was v helpful, also for sacral pain at the back.

Penguin27 · 15/12/2017 17:09

I had this! Mentioned it to the midwife and she had a look to see if there were any varicose veins... there weren't, then the pain went away Hmm

Ekphrasis · 15/12/2017 17:23

Thanks for suggestions. Im 19 weeks, it's definitely not the bone; it's the fleshy bit if that makes sense, either side of the pubic triangle. I do have si joint issues and have a belt. I suspect it's more from furious coughing over the last few days but cropped up earlier in pregnancy and went away.

I feel like I have to grab my bump and/ or my vulva when I cough Blush

Lol - no point, it's too bushy!

Just realised it's my GROIN! I had no idea what that area was called (usually do) apart from fanjo. Blame pregnancy!

And waddah ya know; there are support things for your fanjo!

If it’s your groin it could be either round ligament pain or more likely SPD. Mines the same on the left side, feels bruised, sometimes feels like it’s burning a little. Doesn’t feel like it’s coming from my bone at all but this is how my SPD in previous pregnancy began

Relaxing2 · 15/12/2017 18:57

Sorry tmi I kno but just interested as my pain is all here and I'm struggling really bad and even to sit down

BigBaboonBum · 15/12/2017 19:16

If it’s everywhere then it’s probably pressure from where the baby has decided to settle down! Flowers
