34 weeks and I’m so uncomfortable!

With my first I felt like she was never going to come, no twinges, no Braxton Hicks, absolutely nada except for some back pain. She eventually came at 42 weeks and ended up being a c section.

This time I’m 34 weeks and I’ve been convinced I’m going into labour everyday for the last 3 weeks! So much pressure on my vagina, Braxton Hicks constantly, back pain, heaps of discharge, feeling like I’m being stabbed in the cervix!

My morning sickness is back in full swing, I can’t walk properly. I’m so miserable!

Is this normal? I don’t know if I just had a very ‘comfy where she is’ type baby the first time around or if my body’s trying to eject this one?

Or is it just more common in second pregnancy?

I’ve not got anything prepared and It’s too early but all of the discomfort is getting a bit much to bear now!

It's my first pregnancy and I'm also in agony (have been since about 16 weeks). Back pain, pelvic pain, hip pain - it gets so severe that I struggle to walk and sometimes I can't sleep and just cry all night. Midwife and doctors are absolutely no help, they just told me to take paracetamol and it will go away after I give birth. Sorry not much help but you're not alone!

I'm 35 weeks and feeling similar. Felt the same with DS1 too. Roll on the 4th of Jan (when the sleepless nights really will start!)

Also to say that it's apparently not uncommon for sickness to return at the end. I have had HG with both pregnancies until 7 months with bouts of hospitalisation but I've stopped vomiting, although still have nausea. I have sciatica too, which is helped by periodic osteopath visits. Pregnancy is a slog!

I'm 35 weeks today and have been really uncomfortablr for past couple of weeks. I think baby is sat breech and/or transverse and it's awful. Thankfully finishing work tomorrow, all I want to do is lie on sofa. It's also my second and I can't remember feeling like this with my first but she was quite a small baby and head down. I am moaning to anyonr who dares ask how I feel.
