Is my waters leaking?

I'm a first time mum, and for about the past hour now it feels as if I'm leaking, I've just went to pee and noticed that even after I've pee'd I still feel some dribble into the toilet?
I've not had any contractions or pain much today so a little confused

They may well be. Mine leaked like they in my first pregnancy. How many weeks ate you?

Definitely possible.
Put a pad on to catch the waters for hospital to test.
And call maternity assessment and tell them. They’ll probably tell you to go there with the pad.

I'm only 35+2, I've put a pad on just now and I'm going to wait it out a little bit to see if it continues, I went to an antenatal class on Friday and was told that 90% of first time mums don't have their waters break so that's why I'm a little confused

If in doubt, call and get checked out. If waters are leaking there is a high risk of infection so they might want to monitor you or give antibiotics.

90% might not but that means 10% do! My waters going was the first sign of labour with DS (my first).

I've been told by a midwife that if your discharge/water smells sweet, it could be your amniotic fluid. Definitely get advice and get checked.

It can happen! I was a first time mum a few weeks ago - my waters went at 38 + 4. I just knew it was waters. Kept leaking all day (I couldn't believe how much liquid there was!). Maternity unit want to see the pad (gross!). Other than just knowing, waters had a very very slight pinkish tinge & definitely smelt different to wee! Good luck!

Call your midwife. There's a sanitary towel type thing you can wear that turns blue if your leaking amniotic fluid. There's a risk of infection if you are so definitely contact someone.

Call triage and be seen, they just check it doesn’t take long. They make you cough and see... I was the same with my first pregnancy, they started trickling and I had no idea if I was slightly peeing or if they were leaking because it isn’t a constant thing... anyway they gushed a few hours later! It is true that only 10% of labours begin with waters breaking but it happened to me and my best friend! How does it smell?
I wasn’t sure so put a pad on and lay down for 30 mins. When I stood up it gushed out and carried on gushing for the next 12 hours.

I was at the maternity assessment ward for other reasons the other day and had mentioned to them about it but as I put a pad on and it was still dry and I didn't have pains either they just reassured me it most likely wasn't my waters

That's good but keep an eye on things. I had PPROM with DS and ended up with an infection in labour. Not nice & totally preventable.

Would defo get checked if water can get out germs can get in
