Low blood pressure

I saw my doctor yesterday and was told that my blood pressure was low and "if it gets lower I will have to go to hospital for a drip"
Does anyone know what is considered too Low?
I have a monitor at home so I can keep an eye on my blood pressure. Is there a point where low becomes too low? If that makes sense?

What was the reading OP? Mine is currently 90/58 and I permanently feel a little faint, but none of the health professionals are bothered! Apparently it's better to be on the low end than high.
