Crying for no reason...

Does anyone else suddenly get overwhelmed with the thought of having a baby and start crying?

I'm really grateful and excited to be pregnant, but sometimes if I think about it too much - finances, accommodation, friends, family - I just begin to feel it's all too much. Sometimes I even wonder if I'm going to be a good mother and whether my baby is doing okay in there.

Tell me I'm not alone...

I am very emotional at the moment! Go through waves of happiness, anxiety and then negativity about what people will think, will I be able to cope and how life will change completely!
I'm absolutely over the moon to be pregnant and it what we've wanted for a while but I really struggle with change in general so the change in work and life is what I'm finding the hardest to get my head around!

On reflection I can see there is a reason, but what i really mean is that these thoughts are not triggered by anything and just happen randomly and sporadically.

It may be more related to your hormones which set you off randomly. Have you spoken to anyone about it?

SweetheartTreacleTart · 09/12/2017 20:14

Yes maybe it is just my hormones and it's all completely normal eh. I have mentioned it in passing to a friend who recently had a baby and she said she experienced crying over silly things like running out of her favourite ice cream or her favourite show not being on that evening. lol

I have a lot of overwhelming feelings that life is passing me by to quickly and don't want to rush it.

I've been talking to someone at work about normal work things and the next minute in floods of tears!

Hormones!! I cried over the fact my partner was quite sick and he was in pain. I cried like a baby lol.

Ugh really?

I cry because there's not enough sugar/not strong enough tea.

How pathetic is THAT
