Hey ladies,
Just wondering if there is any point me going to hospital I fell in the snow yesterday and I know baby is fine because she's been moving etc as normal. Me on the other hand 😰 I have hip and back problems at the best of times and since I slipped the pain is unbearable I've been prescribed co-codomal for my existing problems so have been taking that with no joy. If I go to the hospital are they able to give me anything else? Thanks in advance for replies....please help lol 🙈

Do you have a number for your midwifery team?
It's very likely all is absolutely fine but they might understand you needing some reassurance.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your fall, just to be on the safe side I would ring your local maternity unit and ask advice x

Just to clarify you don't sound fine at all and I'm sorry you're in pain. Just was meaning babies are robust creatures

Thanks ladies! Yeah I have a number for them but didn't want to seem like the anxious annoying mum to be 😅 The joys of pregnancy and overthinking in general 🙈 I will ring and see if I can take anything else I have some painkillers here from before I was pregnant so no harm in asking eh! Really appreciate the replies

I did something terrible to my hip during pregnancy and they gave me codeine to take so you can have something stronger. Go and get checked out first though xx

I would suggest going to your GPnon Monday to see if they can give you anything stronger for pain

Are you able to see a physio? Where I am we can self-refer during pregnancy to specialist physios. They worked magic on me 2 weeks ago when I was in agony and could hardly move - 2 days later I was totally back to normal. Can't help with the pain at the moment though other than rest and heat/ice
