The baby is still down in your pelvis, it won't rise out for a few weeks yet. After that, bump size varies hugely. I just looked a bit fatter till about 6 months.

BAR91 · 09/12/2017 16:24

30 weeks lol. I'm a size 14 but tall. I just looked chubby until then.

Mrsknackered · 09/12/2017 16:29

1st pregnancy about 7 months! 2nd pregnancy was much earlier, about 4 months I had a little bump.

Waitingonasmile · 09/12/2017 16:41

Size 10 with first and showed around 18/19 weeks! Size 12 with second and showed around 16 weeks.

Thanks for the replies. Gosh it does vary doesn't it.

About 6 months with my first and I'm around 20 weeks with my second and starting to get a slight bump, But a lot of it is still bloat. 12 weeks is way too early to have any sort of bump - the baby is really low in your pelvis and about 5cm long. Some people get a bit bloated in the first few months which is why you hear a lot of chat about some women showing really early.

FourForYouGlenCoco · 09/12/2017 18:19

21 weeks pregnant (tomorrow!) with my third and in the mornings I still just look a bit rounder - bloat up through the day and look enormous by the evening, but tbh I’m still not sure anyone would risk offering me a seat. With both my other 2 I looked ever so slightly bloated from about 12w, and then suddenly popped around 22/23w both times. By about 26 weeks I had a proper bump and looked obviously pregnant. Looks like I’ll be the same again this time!

purplecat27 · 09/12/2017 18:27

I'm nearly 10 weeks with my second, and already 3 people have asked me if I'm pregnant. I seem to bloat up terribly in the first trimester but it looks like a proper pregnancy bump. Last time I looked the same until around 17/18 weeks and then it started to grow, but I'd looked pregnant from around 8 weeks!

17/18 weeks with first and that was a tiny bump
Was tiny the whole way through tbh even at 9 months I looked about 7

This time... had a bump from about 8 weeks which blows my mind as the baby is tiny
I'm now 15 weeks and honestly look like I did at 6 months last time! Feel massive
My stomach muscles must be awfulllllllll

molifly · 09/12/2017 18:31

22 weeks here are just look plumper!

user1485778793 · 09/12/2017 18:36

My first I was showing about 14 weeks, I'm 5ft3 with a very short body and size 10 so there was no hiding him anywhere.

I'm 9 weeks today and not showing but I've lost a stone over the last month so it might be easier to hide this one.

About 24 weeks ish with first, small bump the while pregnancy, now 12 weeks with second and I have a clear bump! Scan on Monday intrigued to see if I'm further along than I think

DramaAlpaca · 09/12/2017 20:42

About 16 weeks with DC1, earlier with DC2 and almost immediately with DC3.

cliffdiver · 09/12/2017 20:43

I had a ‘bump’ from about 6 weeks - it was obviously just swelling of some sort, not baby, but I looked pregnant (flat stomach prior).

FreshHerbs · 09/12/2017 20:57

Started showing around the 5/6 month mark in all my three pregnancy's.
I absolutely hated being pregnant and glad that's all behind me.....
