Didn't think to read the label before having one, they're my headache cure. They say check with your Dr on the label....do I worry? 14 weeks today

My midwife told Me they were okay to take

SandysMam · 09/12/2017 07:33

It’s fine, don’t worry! Only vitamins, no vitamin A (but even that is only dangerous in excess). Relax!! If they do cure headaches, it’s likely you are dehydrated though so drink more water.

Phew thank you Smile

Yes, it's just vitamin C and sugar, basically a fizzy drink. I take extra vitamin C every day in pregnancy. And it's no more than what's in your pregnancy vitamins anyway, so nothing to worry about.

I wouldn’t take one regularly but as a one off it’s not going yo get an issue at all.

Agree with a pp though, it’s most likely the fluid you are having with them that is helping your headache rather than the vits in them.

Morecheeeeeeesegromit · 09/12/2017 11:05

Oh it was definitely dehydration but in the past I've always found they kick in quicker to kill off a headache than just water/squash

Won't do it again but won't worry as a one off

I took them in early pregnancy as they have a bit of folic acid and I couldn't stomach the tablets.

Moanyoldcow · 09/12/2017 15:41

They are ok to take daily in pregnancy.

TinoTheArtisticMouse · 10/12/2017 09:25

I took them daily with dd1 and she is now a happy healthy 2yo.
