To phone delivery suite or not

I'm 37 weeks, I had a sweep this afternoon, baby's head was 'right there' I'm 4-5cm dilated & waters were bulging.
I've had quite a few contractions but they aren't regular. Started having the bloody show not long ago too.
I'm only feeling the contractions behind my pubic bone though. Is this just because baby is so low?
I'm about 20 minutes away from the hospital and have very fast labours from when my waters break.
Not sure if I should just see if things progress more or to see if I can go in although it seems pretty pointless when I could be more comfortable at home.
Is it possible to dilate more and not know?!

I'd ring them and see what they say given that you are dilating and have fast labours. Good luck!

I was told to expect to loose my mucus plug after my sweep. I did and was contacting on and off for two days and didnt have him until my induction two days after my sweep. But if in doubt get checked out

Oh, goodness! Do call! The MWs might well not believe you (they never believe me) but I have similarly fast labours. I've been told I'm only in early labour and then I've pointed out the head!
