Can anyone advise on Maternity Allowance claim number?

There doesn't seem to be one for anyone trying to get an update on their claim! Only a number for new applications, and it specifies that it won't deal with queries of any other nature right at the beginning.

I went on maternity leave on 18th October. I'm expecting to be paid by now. It's been over 6 weeks and I'm financially in a big struggle over it.

When did you submit your application? In my previous experience, it takes about 6 weeks for them to review your application and issue a decision. If you only submitted the form 6 weeks ago, I personally would hold tight. Calling probably isn't going to get you anywhere if you submitted the form a bit late. If you have already received the decision, your first payment date would have been in the letter. I would only call if you haven't been paid on this date that was already specified.
