I put on 10kg throughout my whole pregnancy.

Mammyloveswine · 11/12/2017 11:04

I'm 1 stone and 10 pounds up at 37 weeks

Don't worry about it! I've gained around the same and I'm 28+5 today :) as long as you feel well in yourself and eat reasonably well you and baby will be fine. You can lose the weight after :) we deserve a break I think!

Plus not all woman are lucky enough to barely gain weight and snap back etc!

Girlwiththearabstrap · 11/12/2017 13:31

Don't worry. Our bodies are all different. Just eat as healthily as you can/within recommended calorie range. Lots of fruit and veg etc. And keep active.

I'm almost 20 weeks and have put on about 10lbs. I can feel the weight gain ramping up now so I'm trying to be careful not to overeat or go for junk food. But putting on weight is part of pregnancy.

I gained about 4 stone through my pregnancy. My baby boy is now two weeks old and without even trying I've lost more than half of it. Just don't think about it.

WhyTheHeckMe · 11/12/2017 13:43

21 weeks and I've gone from 9st to 11st.
With my first I put on 3.5st and had lost it all within the month. Don't feel like I'll be so lucky this time!

I'm 28 weeks and I've put on 0.03kg/11oz

It depends so much on what your starting weight was. If you were underweight or normal weight, you will likely put on more. If you were overweight or obese, you should put on less.

With my first, I put on 18lbs (so that's about 8kg) from before I got pregnant until I gave birth. I was really active though throughout my pregnancy and also overweight to start (BMI of 28).

This time around, I weighed a bit more to start (BMI of 30) and I've not been as active due to much longer work days and having an older child to look after. I'm 31 weeks and have put on about a stone so far (just over 6 kgs). I expect it will be closer to 2 stone by the time baby arrives. That's the upper range of what's healthy for my weight.

Im 38 weeks and have only put weight on on my bump (amazingly) so overall, ive put on 1stone 2lbs-i could have done woth losing some weight before pregnancy though

Mumbofeet · 11/12/2017 18:19

I'm 28+2 and have put on 12kg! I feel like it is way too much considering I've still got 12 weeks to go but I've not been eating excessively so hoping it will all come off after birth. I know weight gain is inevitable in pregnancy but i was definitely hoping I'd just have a cute little bump with no extra weight anywhere else ha!
