I am so overdue and fed up

10 days over due now and I'm so fed up and desperately want the baby to come. I've had a fourth sweep today. Am possibly 2cm dilated and cervix 1cm thick and they said that the station was -2 (I have no idea what that means!)

I'm getting a few Braxton Hicks which are fairly uncomfortable and cause period like pains in my back and lower tummy. Only lasting 30 seconds or so. But I had this the other day and it all went away.

I'm just desperate for the baby to come naturally and to get on with life now as feel in a permanent state of limbo.

It's my 3rd by the way.

Any words of wisdom?

Sorry no wisdom, But i wanted to share ur pain. I'm only 40 weeks today. But this is my second dc and first was 41+15 after induction... So I'm expecting to be in it for the long haul. Saw midwife today and baby isn't engaged, so they couldn't even do a sweep yet!.... Just lots of walking and ball bouncing for me til next Thursday!

• Oops 40 +15 otherwise that would be one mega gestation!

When did your other 2 come?
I'm only 38+4 and already fed up, my first came at 35+5 and I thought this one would be early too, although it's obviously better that he wasn't.
