Bleeding early pregnancy

Just found out I’m pregnant must only be around 4-5 weeks been spotting very faintly for a week or so, and I mean barely anything the faintest, just been the toilet and noticed like a 50p sized amount of blood in underwear and some as I wiped should I be worried?

Call you're midwife and they can arrange for an early scan. I had a little spotting with both my pregnancies and it was just implantation bleeding and nothing to worry about. First time I was sent in for a scan, second time they were happy to not scan as i was booked for the following week.
Always best to given them a ring.

Hi, to be honest I'm not sure. I no you can bleed in early pregnancy but I'm not sure what is normal or not.

Could you contact you local early pregnancy clinic or your doc about this? X

Sorry for the personal question but was it red or brown? Brown is quite common, I had it with both of mine.

No it’s red, I haven’t got my first appointment with midwife til 19th December xx

I would head to see your doctor, they’ll be able to refer you for an early scan. Wishing you well

In my first pg with my dd i had 3 massive bleeds in the first trimester. She was born healthy.
Bleeding is not normal but its common.
I'm not sure what they could do so early on but I'd go see your gp.

Hi I'm 6 weeks and I had brown blood and discharge a couple of days ago, I called ooh and got an appointment at the ooh where they Did a week test and felt my tummy (think this was to check for appendicitis tho as had pain on one side) I was sent for a scan the next day but there was nothing to see as too early so been booked back in for 2 weeks.
Sorry this isn't really helpful is it, more just to say I understand your worry!
